Steve’s South Dakota Buck

Congrats to Steve Meng from BaseCampLeasing.com, he just punched his archery tag on a beautiful South Dakota whitetail.  This was his first hunt on a new South Dakota lease.  I have personally used BaseCamp twice and each time the property was exactly as listed on their website.  Both times I filled my tag, enough said…

Every day a ton of deer, including several nice bucks were using this field. The first evening I saw a 160 class 10 point and he was headed in my direction until the farmers combine entered the field. Game over. The next evening I saw probably 50-60 deer total including 3 shooters but none of them came into bow range. Today it all came together. I was hunting a river bottom stand overlooking a cut cornfield. This 152″ ten point gave me a 25 yard shot, the shot was good and he fell within site.

Steve Meng the president of basecamp leasing is devious person in his business dealings. A person with no morals.
