Second P&Y Buck for Bill

Bill Collins sent us this hunt report from his trip to Maryland. Way to go Bill on a super year chasin’ big whitetails!

Maryland 10 Point Buck

This big 10 Pointer was taken in Maryland on 9 Nov, at 0730, the fog just lifted and I started to hit my Bone Collector Grunt call just like I did during my Kansas hunt a few weeks prior when I harvested my 190″ Buck.  Ten minutes later this bruiser came cruisin in slowly looking for some action.  He ended coming in to 3 yards before I could actually get a shot.  My Scent Blocker suit was worth its weight in gold at that point as I let my arrow fly, hitting him straight down through a lung with the same Magnus Buzzcut Broadhead I shot my Kansas deer with.  Just had to prove how well those broadheads hold up.  I watched him run into the thicket only to hear him crash seconds later, another monster buck down in the same season.  It was almost to good to be true.  He will score green in the mid to upper 140’s.  What a season, 2 Pope and Young’s on the wall!!!

You may recall that Bill submitted an earlier story on his monster Kansas buck, it was titled Kansas Monster Buck  and can be found by clicking the link below.
