Mineral Lick and Trail Camera Time

It’s that time again guys! Time to grab a shovel and some mineral and salt and help those bucks grow big racks, while posing for your trail camera. Building a mineral lick is an easy and effective way to get lots of great pictures of the bucks that are living on the land you plan to hunt this fall. These bucks were just starting to branch out when I got these pictures on my Moultrie Game Spy IR trail cam. Here are some pictures.

I did a post last year that has some specifics about the process, click on this link to read it: www.american-hunter.com/trail-camera-pictures-mineral-licks-and-big-bucks. That said, there are many ways to go about it. Another mineral product I have tried with good success is the Trophy Rock . This  is a handy product that is easy to haul around, inexpensive and deer love them this time of year.
