this sight is so difficult to set up that a state champion and shop bow mechanic could not get it on target after 2 hours. the next day to real good shooter’s spent over one hour at the range and could not get on target.people with a mechanical level of 8 on a 10 scale might have a chance,i really doubt it.

Very cool Derek. It’s always nice to get someone you love to spend time with in the woods! Plus walking out of the woods dragging a buck like that. Congrats Chelsea way to go. She is a keeper!!!!

Driving to New Mexico may cost a little more for gas, but you would camp so you could save on lodging. The out of state tags are $110 and $10 for the second tag. The public land here is vast and its not difficult to find unpressured birds. You are correct on doing the research on line and google earth is awesome I use it all the time. Season runs from April 15th to May 10th but last year the gobblers got done early. Weather here effects the mating season dramatically. Last two spring seasons, the first and second weeks were the most productive. I will be doing preseason scouting and posting results for all to see.

The North Dakota buck was measured by a Buckmasters scorer. The BTR score is 175 6/8 while the composite or real gross score is 193 0/8. I’ll get a name soon, and post that also. I have it somewhere, but darned if I can find it.
