Come with me on a semi-live NM elk hunt…

OK Folks,

We are going to try something new. I am leaving tomorrow for the Jicarilla Apache Reservation in Dulce, NM for my annual elk hunt. This will be my 7th year in a row to hunt the Jicarilla. The temps look like they are going to drop and I expect the elk to really turn on.

I am going to attempt to post every day or two while I am on the hunt and give an update and try to take you with me on this great adventure. This all hinges on me having a connection to the Net once I get to NM. I think I can pull it off.

Tomorrow, I am flying to Amarillo where I will meet my cameraman, David Sager, from THE ZONE. Then we will drive 7 hours to Dulce. I can hunt for 5 days, then we are driving back to Amarillo to hunt with my good friends at 4F Outfitters for pronghorn on the way back home. Check in and see how things progress. It should be a great week.
