The Wasp hammer is a replaceable, 3blade broadhead with a chisel style tip. Overall this is a pretty good head. The accuracy is excellent, and the blade sharpness is very good. In the Plywood test the head penetrated fully, stopping just at the rear of the blades. One blade was slightly bent. In the tire it penetrated fully with several inches of arrow shaft. In the steel drum the Hammer fully penetrated the first side, with the tip sticking in the back wall. The only damage to the head in all the tests was the bent blade in the plywood. I think the Wasp Hammer SST is a very good broadhead. It is sharp, accurate, and strong. If you take the time to tune your bow and put the arrow where it needs to be, it will get the job done every time. Please note as more test information becomes available, it will be updated and posted. Make sure you check back periodically to see if the head you're curious about shows up on the measuring tape. If you’re interested in donating a head for testing, email ckfitch3@aol.com or visit Huntingforums.com, Bows and Arrows forum and see 5shot. Thank you and enjoy.
