The Phantom is a two or four blade broadhead. It weights 105 grains without bleeders and 125 grains with them. I tested the head as a two blade, mostly because I have found in the past the heads like this will score the same either way. Four blades cut more tissue, but don’t penetrate as well. The bleeder blades that come with most heads of this type are pretty fragile and tend to break off when they hit something hard. The phantom blades are much stronger than the typical style bleeders, but they can and still will break off if you hit something really hard. This is not bad, as it will allow the head to continue to penetrate. It is something to keep in mind however.

 I found the accuracy to be excellent. The heads shot very well and grouped with my field points. In the plywood test the Phantom completely penetrated the board and showed now damage. In the tire it penetrated the first side with several inches of arrow shaft. The steel drum was also no problem for the phantom. It busted through the first wall and the tip stuck in the rear wall.

 Overall the Phantom is an excellent cut on contact style broadhead. It is very tough, accurate and the blades are sharp enough for hunting right out of the package. They also have some of the best bleeder blades on the market. They are easy to install and much stronger than those found on similar heads.
