The B52 is a one piece, 2blade, cut on contact style broadhead. It is unique in that the ferule and blades are all made from the same piece of steel, including the threads. This makes for a very strong broadhead. The tip has a slight “dish” in the center, acting like a chisel and helping to eliminate curling, which can be a problem with some cut on contact style heads. I found the accuracy to be very good. The broadhead grouped very well, and with my field points. In the plywood test the head busted though with no problem, and without damage. In the tire it penetrated the first side with several inches of arrow shaft. In the steel drum the head penetrated the first side, with the tip and 1/3 of the blade surface sticking in the far wall. After the tests were complete the head was still useable, provided you sharpen it up. Overall I really like the B-52, it eliminates the need for adaptors, and it spins true right from the package. The blades are not very sharp out of the box, but they are fairly easy to put a good edge on. These heads combine strength, accuracy, and ease of use into one simple package. If you want a high quality 2 blade broadhead I would take a good look at this one. Please note as more test information becomes available, it will be updated and posted. Make sure you check back periodically to see if the head you're curious about shows up on the measuring tape. If you’re interested in donating a head for testing, email ckfitch3@aol.com or visit Huntingforums.com, Bows and Arrows forum and see 5shot. Thank you and enjoy.
