Though Herald spends many days each year in pursuit of trophy whitetail deer and loves the challenge, his favorite hunts are active. “Elk and turkey hunting are great because you can move, strategize and interact with the animals on their terms. I am also a diehard African hunter and love tracking and pursuing big animals in rough landscapes such as Cape buffalo, kudu and on my next hunt, elephant. ”

I’ve been fortunate to hunt many states and provinces over the years. In planning my trips I found little unbiased information specific to hunting trips and travel, and there was no way for serious hunters to network and share experiences with each other. Lots of other hunters have told me the same thing. I decided to fix this problem and in 2009 launched NextHunt.com. We recently added another site to our network, Hunting Information Systems in May 2010, check it out at Huntinfo.com

Born and raised in Central Ohio, Adam Hays was destined to be a whitetail hunter. ” My father was a bowhunter, and when I was 4 years old he stuck a small fiberglass bow in my hands, 39 years later I’m still flinging arrows!” After graduating high school in 1985, Adam worked in the construction field for nearly 20 years before leaving a successful career with Columbia Gas, to work in the Hunting Industry full time.
Adam got his start as a freelance videographer for Wolf Creek Productions in the early 90′s, hunting and filming for the American Archer and Outdoor America. Adam then went on to work in production, spending two seasons producing “Hunting on the Horizon” for Skyline Camouflage, then went to work for Lone Wolf Treestands where he produced “Whitetail Addictions” for 4 years. In 2009, Adam landed a prestigious spot with ESPN legend Tom Miranda, and works as a field producer for Dominant Bucks. He also is co-host of Intrepid Outdoors TV.
