Elk, Bear and Mountain Loin Hunts in Lincoln National Forest
(New Mexico Unit 34)

The southern Sacramento Mountains in south central New Mexico provide an opportunity to hunt trophy class elk without the rigors required reaching a pack in wilderness camp. The Sacramentos range in elevation from 7,000 to over 10,000 feet. The terrain consists of meadows; canyons and timber covered ridges, aspens and oaks. Our unit 34 borders the southern end of the renowned Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation.

Elite's success over the last three years in areas where other outfitters and do-it-yourself hunters have struggled is directly attributable to these guides and their incredible ability to hunt elk in rough country.

I'm an avid bow hunter and have been on several guided hunts. Timberline Outfitters has the nicest facilities that I have ever hunted in. Perry and his guides have incredible knowledge of the area and the game. I can't say enough good stuff about this outfit.
