Tips on Turkey Hunting!
By Shane Holcomb: Preston Pittman Pro-Staffer and Professional guide. 1.) Pre-Season scouting for roost areas and feeding areas is a MUST! 2.) Know your hunting land and it's terrain, be aware of obstacles that might hang up that old gobbler. 3.) Do not call to turkeys before the season starts, doing so will make turkeys call shy! 4.) BE Patient! Turkeys do not always come right in. Sit tight and work the turkey. 5.) Do not overcall! If the turkey wants you to call, Do so! If he hangs up stop calling, He's Strutting! If you stop calling he will come on in to find that lonesome hen!
