Jim Strader's Tip on Turkey Hunting 05-15-2000!

Jim and a great tom!By Jim Strader : Professional Hunter and Raido Host of "The Great Outdoors" with Jim Strader.

Weekly Turkey tip:  Too much calling puts you in jeopardy  of being pinpointed.  A gobbler that thinks he knows exactly where a hen is located is more apt to stand his ground and strut in hopes of luring her to him.  It's best to raise his curiosity and make him come to investigate the best spot to display his ardor.    - Jim Strader

Remember...Always be a safe and ethical Hunter and be aware of your target!
