Jim Strader's Tip on Turkey Hunting 04-27-2000!

Jim and a great tom!By Jim Strader : Professional Hunter and Raido Host of "The Great Outdoors" with Jim Strader.

Weekly Turkey tip:  A lot of hunters fail to bag a bird because they shoot over the turkey's head or shoot at the body.  This can be avoided by taking careful aim at the base of the bird's neck, right where the feathers stop.  This will put the bulk of the pattern at the base of the neck and skull for a clean kill.  - Jim Strader

Remember...Always be a safe and ethical Hunter and be aware of your target!
